1.0 General informations
1.1 What is it and what is it for?
TapSplit is a small utility, that is able to split iBM blabla.TAP files
(from ZX-Spectrum emulators) to pieces, that are acceptable for Amiga
ZX-Spectrum emulators (checked with ZXAM)
1.2 Who did it and why?
TapSplit was created by Michal Bartczak (Miker). My addy:

I did it, because I love ZX-Speccy, and I have dozens of blerk.TAP files
with great games, and I want to play them on my A1200 with 50 MHz 68060.
2.0 Usage
2.1 Main command usage
It is very simple. Just write:
TapSplit blabla.TAP
(remember NOT TO USE A SPACE AFTER NAME (and in name too))
2.2 How to use it with speccy emulators ?
TapSplit will create dozens of files. Each file have a number (from 0000
up to 9999), and an extension ".header" or ".bytes". Just run Your
ZX-Spectrum emulator (ie. ZXAM) and use LOAD "" command. (keys: "J",
ALT+P, ALT+P, return). You should be prompted to select .header file.
Just select the first one. Then second one... and so on... If game need
file, then just select files one by one starting from last not used until
game start to work. If You see "REWIND TAPE" or something like that, just
simply start selecting files from beginning.
3.0 Other
3.1 Bugs
No known bugs currently. Execpt those :)
* If You use not a correctly .tap file, results are unpredictable.
* .tap can't be longer than 10000 files (should be enough :)
3.2 Future
I'm decided to create a REAL ZX-Speccy emulator. I am able to do at the
moment complete ZX-48K emulator, with full cycling (yep. Not only C=64
uses cycling !). But to create ZX-128K i need following:
AY-3-8910 emulation help
128K outs. (Bank swapping, screen memory swapping)
[When I had zx, I used them very often... But I do not have SRAM in my
mind. With no refresh everything can gone - now I can say lot of Amiga
custom chips addresses, but no zx outs :/ ]
I have all other (ROM's (48k and 128k), instruction (with cycles, and
undocumented instructions too), ZX-Speccy cyling (48K and 128K)).
Please, send me a help. Preferably to an e-mail. Maybe I will receive it :).
My email is: s0402@goblin.pjwstk.waw.pl
I hope THIS project won't stop... :]
Sorry for my English
